Skagit Pet Pantries

No one should have to choose between feeding themselves and a beloved pet. 

Six times a year (every other month), SAIN purchases a pallet of dog food and a pallet of cat food for Community Action of Skagit County's Food Distribution Center (FDC). The FDC then distributes pet food to food banks around Skagit, Island and San Juan Counties. This partnership addresses a critical need. So often, people in need will skimp on their own needs to provide food for their beloved pets. This program is in keeping with the part of SAIN’s mission focused on preventing animal cruelty and neglect by supporting owners in need.
